SEOUL WOMEN’S CYCLING TEAM
Used as a regular meeting place for cyclists, the Gyeongbokgung Royal Palace in Seoul’s Gwanghwamun Park was the inspiration behind Seoul Women’s Cycling Team’s race jersey. Riders travel through the grounds of the palace to reach the roads which lead up to the Bugaksan Mountain.
The palace is a large part of the city’s culture and is adorned with many beautiful, colourful and traditional Korean patterns and imagery. These patterns intersect and clash amongst the Palace and this has been reflected within the sections of the jersey.
SWCT Training Jersey
In a Rapha Exclusives team effort, a secondary jersey was created to be used as the training kit for Seoul Women’s Cycling Team’s.
Inspired by traditional Korean art and the spiritual elements that tigers imbue we created a modern graphic illustration for this jersey. Tigers are a symbol for dignity, courage and ferocity and are looked upon as guardians within Korean culture. We thought this was an apt fit to reflect the personality and mentality of the team.
This kit was well received by the public which led a run of it to be produced for wholesale purposes which were sold in the APAC region through Rapha Korea.

Team Support Car
A standard for pro cycling race teams, a support car is a valuable asset to many riders.
Sponsored by BMW, the Seoul Women’s Cycling Team car adopted the graphic elements which make up the team’s kit.
